Char Minar : Char Minar is the ceremonial gateway in Hyderabad and is one of the best examples of South Indian Islamic architecture . Char Minar literally means four towers and was built in 1589 and forms the center of the capital city of Hyderabad. Char Minar was once a part of the ceremonial approach to the royal palaces. The building is having a square structure with arched gateways in the centre of each side which intersect at the centre. At the four corners there is a tower or minaret nearly 60 m high and crowned with an onion-shaped bulbous dome.

Golconda Fort : Golconda fort is located on the outskirts of the city of Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh and is one of the most magnificient fortress complexes in India. The beautiful fort has an ancient history which dates back to the 13th century. Initially the Golconda fort was made of mud and later it was reconstructed with stones by Qutb Shahi rulers. The fort is situated on an isolated granite hill and is about 400ft above the surrounding plains and its contours blends with those of the hill. The brilliant architectural planning of the Golconda fort allows the flow of cool breeze which brings a lot of respite from the summer heat. There is a light and sound show at the Golconda fort, which includes spectacular interplay of audio and viisual effects, unfolding the story of Golconda. The light and sound show is presented mainly in the three languages such as English, Hindi and Telugu.

Chandragiri Fort : Chandragiri Fort stands on a huge hill which is 183m high and was built by the rulers of Vijayanagara Empire in the 11th century. The town of Chandragiri was once the Capital of Vijayanagar rulers. The southern side of the hill is enclosed and protected by strong walls. The major attraction of the fort is the light and sound show which recounts the history of the fort. The light and sound show is performed every evening after the sunset. There is also facilities for boating in the lake right next to the hill slopes. The site of the fort is being protected by the Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation and is being developed into one of the major tourist attractions in Andhra Pradesh. Chandragiri is only 12kms away from Tirupati and Tirupati is well connected to the other major cities by rail and road.

Asman Garh Palace : Asman Garh Palace is a famous tourist destination and an heritage monument in Andhra Pradesh, which is located in Hyderabad. The beautiful Asman Garh Palace is built on the top of a hill and often serves as a major landmark for Hyderabad. It was built and designed by Asman Jah in 1885, and was a perfect mixture of Indian and European medieval architecture. Asman Jah was once the Prime Minister of Hyderabad, and belonged to a noble family. The Asman Garh Palace now houses an museum which displays archaelogical relics. Since this Palace is located in Hyderaabd, it is very well connected by air, road and rail.
